Cashback Terms

These Cashback Terms apply when you activate, earn or receive cashback through ReloadRewards. They form part of the ReloadRewards Terms of Use and should be read with the Withdrawal Terms, Missing Cashback Policy, Referral Terms and the merchant-specific cashback terms shown before activation.

Cashback is a conditional reward, not an automatic discount from the merchant. Visiting a merchant or completing a purchase does not by itself guarantee cashback.

You must be logged in to the correct ReloadRewards account and the merchant must be listed on ReloadRewards with an active cashback offer when you activate. You must activate cashback through ReloadRewards before visiting the merchant and complete the purchase through the link or shopping session opened by that activation.

Tracking may fail if you leave the activated session, use another device or browser, block required cookies or tracking, use a virtual private network or content blocker that interferes with attribution, click another publisher’s link, or apply a coupon or promotion that is not approved for cashback. You are responsible for checking that your browser and device allow the activation and purchase to be attributed to ReloadRewards.

Each merchant’s ReloadRewards page may specify eligible customers, products, services, order values, cashback rates, caps, exclusions, approved coupons and other conditions. The version shown when you activate applies to that shopping session. A merchant may change or end an offer for future activations at any time.

Cashback is available only on genuine purchases that satisfy all applicable terms and are successfully attributed to ReloadRewards. Gift cards, taxes, delivery charges, fees, subscriptions, particular product categories, existing-customer orders or other amounts may be excluded where the merchant-specific terms say so.

Cashback is calculated using the rate and eligible purchase amount reported for the activated offer. If an offer says “up to” a rate or amount, the actual reward depends on the eligible product, customer or transaction category confirmed by the merchant.

Amounts displayed before merchant validation are estimates. ReloadRewards may correct calculation, attribution, currency-conversion, rounding, reporting or other errors and may adjust cashback to match the eligible amount confirmed by the merchant or its tracking provider.

A tracked purchase may first appear as pending. Pending cashback means the transaction has been reported but has not been finally approved and is not guaranteed. Tracking and approval timeframes are estimates and can vary by merchant, return period and transaction type.

Cashback may move from pending to approved after the merchant validates the transaction. Approved cashback may remain unavailable during any validation, return or holding period. Only cashback shown as available may be withdrawn, subject to the Withdrawal Terms.

Cashback may be declined, reversed, reduced, placed on hold or removed if a purchase is cancelled, returned, refunded, exchanged, charged back or changed; if an order or item is ineligible; if an unapproved coupon or payment method is used; if tracking or transaction data is incomplete or duplicated; if the merchant or tracking provider rejects or does not pay for the transaction; or if ReloadRewards suspects fraud, abuse, manipulation or a breach of applicable terms.

A partial refund, cancellation or adjustment may reduce the eligible order value and cashback amount. Cashback credited because of an error does not become an entitlement and may be corrected. ReloadRewards may request receipts, order confirmations or other reasonable evidence before approving or retaining cashback.

Under the current Referral Program, a referred user must sign up using the referrer’s unique referral code or invite link, complete one eligible purchase with an eligible order value of A$50 or more at a merchant listed on ReloadRewards with active cashback, and accumulate at least A$25 in eligible cashback that reaches approved or available status within 180 calendar days after completing sign-up.

The A$25 threshold is cumulative across eligible purchases. Referral rewards and referral credits do not count, and pending cashback does not count unless it becomes approved or available before the 180-day deadline. Withdrawing eligible cashback does not reduce the amount previously accumulated, but cashback that is later declined, rejected, reversed, reduced or removed ceases to count and may cause a related Referral Reward to be withheld or revoked under the Referral Terms.

If an eligible purchase does not track, you may submit a claim within the period stated in the merchant cashback terms and Missing Cashback Policy. A claim does not guarantee payment. You must provide the information and evidence reasonably required to investigate it, and the merchant or tracking provider must be able to validate the purchase and attribution.

ReloadRewards may review, withhold or place cashback on hold while it checks eligibility, attribution, account security, suspected fraud or abuse, merchant reporting, or compliance with these terms. In making a decision, ReloadRewards may rely on its records and information provided by the member, merchant and tracking provider.

ReloadRewards determines cashback eligibility, attribution, status and amount in its discretion. Its decision following internal review is final within ReloadRewards, subject to any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Cashback Terms excludes, restricts or modifies non-excludable rights, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

ReloadRewards may update these Cashback Terms or change, suspend or end a cashback offer or feature. Updated terms apply from the published effective date. Where reasonably practicable, material changes will be notified before they affect future activations.
