Referral Terms

These Referral Terms apply to the ReloadRewards Referral Program in Australia. They form part of the ReloadRewards Terms of Use and should be read with the Cashback Terms, Withdrawal Terms and any referral offer details displayed in your account.

By sharing a ReloadRewards referral code or invite link, or by signing up through one, you agree to these Referral Terms. All dollar amounts in these Referral Terms are in Australian dollars.

The referrer is the existing ReloadRewards member whose unique referral code or invite link is used. The referred user is the new member who completes sign-up using that code or link. The referral must be successfully attributed to the referrer in ReloadRewards’ records.

A referral code or invite link must be used as part of the referred user’s sign-up. A code or link supplied after sign-up, attributed to another account, entered incorrectly or not recorded by ReloadRewards does not qualify unless ReloadRewards decides otherwise.

The referrer will be eligible for one A$10 Referral Reward only when all three conditions below are satisfied.

1. Sign-up: the referred user completes sign-up with the referrer’s unique referral code or invite link, and ReloadRewards records the referral against that new account.

2. Spend: the referred user completes one eligible purchase with an eligible order value of A$50 or more at a merchant listed on ReloadRewards with active cashback.

3. Cashback: the referred user accumulates at least A$25 in eligible cashback that reaches approved or available status during the 180-day Qualifying Period. All referral rewards and referral credits are excluded from this threshold.

The conditions are cumulative. Meeting only the spend requirement or only the cashback requirement is not enough.

The Qualifying Period starts at the date and time ReloadRewards records the referred user’s completed sign-up and ends 180 calendar days later, based on ReloadRewards’ records. The A$50 purchase must be completed, and the referred user’s eligible cashback must reach the A$25 threshold in approved or available status, before the Qualifying Period ends. Cashback approved or made available after the deadline does not count for that referral.

The A$50 purchase must be made after cashback is activated through ReloadRewards and must satisfy the Cashback Terms and all merchant-specific eligibility terms. The eligible order value is the amount accepted by the merchant for cashback purposes after any excluded items, cancellations, returns, refunds or adjustments.

The A$25 threshold is cumulative across eligible purchases. Referral rewards, referral credits, pending cashback and amounts that are ineligible, declined, rejected, reversed or removed do not count. Withdrawing cashback after it becomes available does not reduce the amount previously accumulated, but any later reversal or reduction is subtracted from the threshold.

The A$10 Referral Reward is awarded to the referrer, not the referred user, after ReloadRewards verifies that every condition has been met. The referred user does not receive a reward under this offer unless a separate offer expressly says otherwise.

Only one Referral Reward may be awarded for the same referred user. If more than one code or link is associated with a sign-up, ReloadRewards may determine which referral, if any, is valid. Review may be delayed while qualifying purchases or cashback are pending merchant validation.

The referrer and referred user must be genuine, separate individuals with active ReloadRewards accounts in good standing and must satisfy any verification requests. Existing members, duplicate accounts, self-referrals and accounts created with false, misleading, shared or unauthorised information are not eligible.

Referral codes and invite links are intended for genuine personal referrals. They must not be used in misleading promotions, sold, exchanged, automatically distributed, combined with unauthorised incentives, or used to manipulate tracking, account creation, purchases, cashback or rewards.

Referral eligibility, attribution and rewards are subject to ReloadRewards’ review and discretion. ReloadRewards’ decision following its internal review is final within ReloadRewards, subject to any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

ReloadRewards may, acting reasonably and in good faith, withhold, decline, cancel, reverse, deduct or revoke a Referral Reward before or after it is credited, for any reason it considers necessary to protect its legitimate interests or the integrity of the Referral Program, or to correct an ineligible or erroneous reward. Reasons include, without limitation, suspected or actual fraud, abuse, self-referral, duplicate or linked accounts, false information, manipulation, technical or crediting errors, a breach of these or other applicable terms, or conduct that undermines the intended operation of the Referral Program.

A Referral Reward may also be withheld or revoked if a qualifying purchase is cancelled, returned, refunded, charged back or found ineligible; if related cashback is rejected, declined, reversed, reduced or removed; if either account is suspended, closed or fails verification; or if the information supplied by a merchant or tracking provider does not support the referral or cashback eligibility. If a reward has already been credited, ReloadRewards may remove it from the referrer’s reward balance or offset it against future rewards, to the extent permitted by law.

ReloadRewards may change, suspend or end the Referral Program, its qualification criteria or its reward amount by publishing updated terms or offer details. A referral remains governed by the Referral Terms and offer details published when the referred user completes sign-up. Changes apply prospectively and do not reduce a Referral Reward that was already validly awarded and remains eligible.

ReloadRewards may request reasonable information needed to review the referral but will not ask you to provide another member’s password or verification code.

Nothing in these Referral Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
